📣 Statistics Canada Returning to Eagle Lake First Nation
Statistics Canada will be back in our community on Friday, May 22 to begin the Non‑Response Follow‑Up portion of the 2026 Census. During this phase, Enumerators will be going door‑to‑door to help households complete their Census questionnaire in person.
⏱️ How long this work takes will depend on community participation. The more households that complete their Census, the quicker the team can finish.
As a reminder, Census mapping and prelisting work begins May 7, 2026, led by Crew Leader Tarry Upshaw, along with a team of three Enumerators.
📅 Key Dates
- Mapping & Prelisting: Starts May 7, 2026 (approx. 3 days)
