⚠️ PLANNED POWER OUTAGE – SATURDAY, MAY 9 ⚠️

Hydro One has informed Eagle Lake First Nation leadership that a planned outage will take place on:

🗓 Saturday, May 9, 2026 ⏰ 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM (approx. 4 hours)

Hydro One’s autodialer system will also send notifications directly to customers. We know outages can be disruptive, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may cause for families and households.

To help everyone prepare, here are a few tips:

• Turn off appliances and electronics like stoves, TVs, and computers. • Fully charge cell phones and portable battery packs ahead of time. • Keep fridge and freezer doors closed as much as possible. Use a cooler with ice for items you’ll need. • If water services may be affected, fill jugs for drinking/cooking and fill the bathtub to use for toilet flushing. • If using a generator, operate it outdoors only, in a dry area away from windows, doors, and vents.
